Appeal to the citizens who witnessed inhumane treatment of wild animals

   Regarding the frequent occurrence of illegal possession of wild animals in captivity, their torture and killings as well as the appearance of so-called "zoological gardens for personal use," the Environmental Protection Agency informs the public about the following:
We urge all citizens who witnessed inhumane treatment of wild animals, their captivity, or if they have knowledge that the wild animals are subject to illegal cross-border trade, to instantly inform the Environmental Protection Agency and Environmental Inspection of those cases with a view to their response in an adequate and timely manner.
The only possibility to put an end to all the ever frequent examples of illegal activities and inhumane attitude to wildlife is the full participation of citizens in the protection of wild species of Montenegro, which are priceless natural resource, in cooperation with the Agency, in order that the change in attitude towards wild species occurs for the better.
