Potpisan Ugovor o tehničkoj saradnji između Regionalnog centra za životnu sredinu za Centralnu i Istočnu Evropu i Agencije za zaštitu životne sredine

   Dana 23.12.2011.godine u Podgorici, potpisan je  Ugovor  o tehničkoj saradnji između Regionalnog centra za životnu sredinu za Centralnu i Istočnu Evropu i Agencije za zaštitu životne sredine, koji uključuje:

1) Razvoj informacionih sistema u oblasti zaštite životne sredine;
2) Razvoj i usavršavanje politika upravljanja podacima o životnoj sredini i izvještavanja o stanju životne sredine;
3) Razvoj i poboljšanje procedura za obradu i evaluaciju podataka o životnoj sredini;
4) Određivanje najboljih dostupnih tehnika i praksi, kao i njihove implementacije u oblasti životne sredine;
5) Ispunjavanje zakonskih obaveza po pitanju izvještavanja o životnoj sredini, kao i zakonom definisanih obaveza prema različitim međunarodnim tijelima, organizacijama i konvencijama i 
6) Implementacija drugih aktivnosti od interesa za obje ugovorne strane;

Otvoren prvi sastanak povodom Projekta Upravljanje zatvorenim radioaktivnim izvorima uključujući radioaktivne gromobrane u Crnoj Gori, Republici Makedoniji i na Kosovu

    U Ministarstvu održivog razvoja i turizma, otvoren prvi sastanak povodom projekta Upravljanje zatvorenim radioaktivnim izvorima uključujući radioaktivne gromobrane u Crnoj Gori, Republici Makedoniji i na Kosovu. Crna Gora zemlja je domaćin pomenutog sastanka koji traje 15. i 16. novembra.

Sastanku prisustvuju predstavnici Evropske komisije, Delegacije EU u Crnoj Gori, implementacione agencije ENCO iz Austrije, predstavnici relevantnih institucija Makedonije, Kosova i Crne Gore, nevladinog sektora, kao i opština na čijim se teritorijama nalaze radioaktivni gromobrani.

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

This request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement notices for IWMCP project that appeared in Development Business online dated Dec 28, 2010.
Montenegro has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study.

This request for expression of interest is for the Contract ref. No. IWMCP-CS-CQ-CS3– Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study consisting of following services:

    I) ESIA and safeguard studies for contaminated industrial site re-mediation, and
    II) ESIA and safeguard studies for hazardous waste management and disposal site.

Obaviještenje o potpisivanju memoranduma o razumijevanju u oblasti zaštite od zračenja, između Direkcije za radijacionu sigurnost Makedonije i Agencije za zaštitu životne sredine Crne Gore

    U Ohridu-Makedonija 25.05.2011. godine  direktori  Direkcije za radijacionu sigurnost Makedonije i Agencije za zaštitu životne sredine Crne Gore, dr Nuzi Shahin i Daliborka Pejović  potpisali su memorandum o saradnji u oblasti zaštite od zračenja,  imajući u vidu da je obezbjeđivanje zaštite stanovništva od zračenja prioritet obije institucije. 
 
Potpisivanje memoranduma organizovano je tokom trajanja Konferencije posvećne regionalnoj saradnji u suzbijanju trafikinga radioaktivnih materijala kojoj, pored predstavnika Agencije, prisustvuju službenici Uprave policije i  Carine  Crne Gore.

19 years from declaration of Montenegro as an ecological state

    By the adoption of the Declaration of ecological state, in Zabljak on 20th September 1991, Montenegro has become the first ecological state in the world. Mentioned document was represented at the UN Conference on environment and development, in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and was included in documents of the Conference.

It is said in Declaration that by establishing the state relation with the nature, Montenegrin Assembly committed all generations to refer to nature as to the health source and inspiration for freedom, as well as to devote to its preservation in the name of their own survival and future descendants.

First marking of birds with MNE sign

    The first time in the history of Montenegro birds from the area of Montenegro received rings with the sign ’’Montenegro’’. The project of marking of birds of Natural History Museum is supported by Telenor mobile phone recycle campaign. In the presence of the officials of the Ministry for environmental protection, Environmental Protection Agency and Natural History Museum, journalists, citizens and emloyeers in Telenor-Kristofer Laska, executive director of Telenor, marked the first bird with the sign MNE.
 
Telenor started mobile phone recycle project ’’Old phone, Now life’’ in October 2009, with an aim of environmental preservation, education and raising ecological awareness. Telenor put 1 euro for each collected old mobile phone for recycle in the fund for support of Montenegrin Natural History Museum projects. Until today, over 30000 old mobile phones have been collected.

Fair of a Simulated Enterprise for Exercise of the Secondary School of Economics “Mirko Vesovic” in Podgorica

On 9 April 2010, in the Secondary School of Economics “Miro Vesovic” in Podgorica, the Fair of a simulated enterprise for exercise was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Center for Vocation Education and the Embassy of Austria that provided a great support through programmes of cultural and professional cooperation.
The fair was attended by a large number of secondary schools of economics in Montenegro. The enterprise for exercise presents a simulated company that operates in a competitive environment with the aim to enable students to acquire entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

Ulcinj, 5 March - World Energy Efficiency Day

  Representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency marked 5 March the “World Energy Efficiency”, having visited the southernmost Montenegrin municipality Ulcinj, where they organized an Eco quiz for children of preschool age in the kindergarten ''Solidarnost'' (Solidarity) and held a series of lectures in the mixed secondary school “Bratstvo i jedinstvo” (Brotherhood and Unity) on the following topics: “Renewable energy and energy efficiency”, “Environmnetal problems of modern society”, “Climate Change” and “Recycling”. Children and students were acquainted through the game and talking with the basic environmental concepts and terms.
After the eco-quiz and teaching, children and students were awarded gifts by representatives of the Agency.
The ultimate goal of this kind of education that the Environmental Protection Agency began last year is for children, young people and citizens of Montenegro to understand that care about the environment must be our daily duty and that we as citizens have a personal responsibility for it.
