CITES PERMITS (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)
The Environmental Protection Agency is competent for the issue of:
1) Permits for import, export and transit of endangered species of wild fauna and flora in accordance with the Law on the Confirmation of CITES Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora ("Official Gazette of the FRY", International treaties, no.11/01).
Required documentation for the issue of CITES permits:
1. An application for the issue of a CITES permit (Required documents for acquiring a CITES permit are stated in this application).
2. Along with the filled out application, the payment of 5 Euros is required.

2) Permits for the export of certain protected flora and fauna species in accordance with the Resolution on Putting Certain Flora and Fauna Species under Protection ("Official Gazette of the RMNE", no.76/06)

A physical or legal person can keep wild animal species in captivity for displaying them to the public in zoos, aquariums, terrariums and similar places, in accordance with law, with a permit of an administration body
Breeding of wild animal species
Article 96
A physical or legal person who meets requirements from Article 94 paragraph 4 of this Law can breed wild animal species in captivity based on a permit of an administration body.
Article 97
A legal or physical person performing the transport of native and foreign species of wild fauna for commercial purposes is required to ensure proper conditions for animal keeping and to keep records with regard to the animal transport, in accordance with law.
